The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was a fun watch that made me like the two main characters a lot more than I did before in the past Marvel movies. Season 1 follows Sam Wilson aka the Falcon and Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier trying to stop the group known as the flagsmashers that want the world to have no borders. When doing this Sam and Bucky run into the new Captain America aka John F. Walker which causes problems for them since this new Captain America has a bit of an anger issue. Throughout the series, they run into old and new allies and villains that will help them on their journey to stop the flagsmashers. The show gives you an inside look into the lives of Sam and Bucky. You really feel it when he and his sister go to try and get a loan from the bank but they deny them right away. For Bucky, you see how he ...
Invincible season 1 was a complete blast to watch and I absolutely loved it. Invincible follows 17-year-old Mark Grayson on his journey to becoming the superhero Invincible. Mark gains his powers while taking out the trash at his job and he accidentally throws the garbage bag into space. Throughout the show, Mark learns to use his powers while he takes on new villains and learns new life lessons. While that may sound like a really basic Superman ripoff it is definitely not the show is very grounded in its own world and is focused on Mark's relationships with friends and family. It also goes deeper into the consequences that being a superhero can have and how it can negatively affect their relationships with other people. T...
